The Snapcase Documentary Begins Last Week of Crowdsourcing Campaign

- By Ramon Gonzales

This is the final week to contribute to the Kickstarter campaign to help fund the comprehensive film exploring the decades long tenure of the seminal Buffalo hardcore band.

Filmmakers Nathaniel Shannon and William Saunders are set to debut their comprehensive documentary on definitive Buffalo hardcore band, Snapcase.

Produced by Fourth.Media, Snapcase: Legacy is the film translation based on Optic: A Visual Archive, the retrospective book released in 2022 by Tom Bejgrowicz and Snapcase themselves.

Filming for the feature began in July 2023, with performance footage and testimonial interviews captured at Snapcase's return to New Jersey. Corralling exclusive interviews with central figures hardcore, as well as archival footage from the band previously unreleased and live performances, Snapcase: Legacy underscores the lasting influence of one of hardcore music's most beloved and influential bands.

The film is currently being supported by the fans through a crowdsourcing campaign that is now in its final week. With plans to make the film widely available via Amazon Prime, Apple TV, YouTube TV, Thunderfix, Tubi and more, filmmakers intend to submit the project for multiple film festivals upon completion.

Supporters that contribute to the project will gain access to a behind-the-scenes look at the film, exclusive merchandise as well as early screenings.

Fans are encouraged to explore the various contribution tiers and can even submit their own footage to be considered for the film. Get complete info - HERE
