Building on the momentum from earlier this year when The Sword announced their reunion following their acclaimed performance at Levitation Festival late last year, the beloved Austin outfit is now taking the show on the road to commemorate a special milestone.
Coinciding with the 15th anniversary of their celebrated third full length studio album, Warp Riders, The Sword has confirmed a slate of Western US tour dates where they will perform the album in its entirety.
The announcement follows the band's special, limited-edition reissue of Warp Riders for Record Store Day. Remastered by J. Robbins, the “Sea of Pyres” vinyl variant featured an premium packaging and sold out within hours.
The trek begins August 17th in Phoenix, AZ and concludes in Los Angeles with a finale at The Bellweather. Rickshaw Billie’s Burger Patrol and Pink Fuzz have been confirmed as support for all dates. The Western US tour follows The Sword's run of European festival dates including plays at Copenhell in Denmark and Tons of Rock in Oslo, Norway.
