Veteran Aussie brutalizers Thy Art Is Murder have issued their first offering of new music with the reconfigured line-up featuring new vocalist, Jerry Grimefeld. Following the live debut of the current line-up earlier this summer, the first delivery of recorded material has landed with the help of legendary producer, Will Putney.
"Squeeze" arrives as the Grimefeld's recorded introduction, anchoring a dominant show of force as Thy Art Is Murder reclaim their place high atop deathcore's current landscape. The single arrives via the band's own Human Warfare label and includes a brand new visual from Aussie filmmaker, Brxda
Grimefeld explained his excitement in fronting a band that has been an integral part of his path of musical discovery. “Thy Art Is Murder has influenced me more than any other band in the world. ‘Hate‘ sent me down the path I’m on today, so being part of this band now is surreal. I’m blessed to be here, and I can’t wait to show everyone what we’ve been working on. We’re about to get ignorant with it.”
Along with the reveal of new music, Thy Art Is Murder have booked a brief, three-date Australian jaunt set for next month. The tour will include headlining performances in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Get tickets and info - HERE
