Iconic guitarist and steadfast activist Tom Morello has announced his first full length solo rock album, Everyone Gets Everything They Want. The LP is set to arrive September 25th via Mom + Pop Music and showcases Morello's signature combination of high-energy rock backing his message of social consciousness, community and course of action. 

The album underscores Morello's knack for collaboration featuring a rotation of producers who each contributed to the project. Morello worked along side the likes of Tyler Smyth, Carl Restivo, Zakk Cervini, Dan Carey, and Sam Nelson Harris to bring his vision to fruition. 

As for the creative direction of the album, Morello's diversity shines bright on the collection of tracks Sourcing various styles and a slew of special guests, the album features tracks with Serj Tankian, Kneecap and Beartooth for some added firepower. Additionally, Morello has recruited his virtuoso 15-year old son Roman to play an integral part of the album.

To better introduce the album, Morello has shared the latest single, "Date Night." The straightforward rock single recounts the story of Truus and Freddie Oversteegen and their close friend Hannie Schaft - three heroic young girls that served as spies against the Nazi occupation of World War II. The three girls would lure Nazis to the wood where they would kill them. Hannie Schaft would eventually be captured, interrogated and tortured to death though she famously never told on her co-conspirators. 

Tom Morello explained of the single, “I make anti-racist songs for anti-racists. I make anti-fascist songs for anti-fascists. And I make anti-Nazi songs for anti-Nazis. ‘Date Night’ is really a ‘which side are you on?’ song. If any of that offends you, do the math. Oh, and Roman Morello wrote the killer riff in this tune.”

Along with the arrival of the new album, Morello will take on live dates at Louder Than Life Festival this September and will host his own Power to the People Festival October 3rd at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. The staggering line-up fuses music and activism with confirmed performances and submissions from Dave Matthews, Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez, Public Enemy, Killer Mike, Brittany Howard, Dropkick Murphys, Jack Black (featuring Roman Morello, Revel Ian, Yoyoka Soma and Hugo Weiss), Serj Tankian, grandson, The Neighborhood Kids, Taylor Momsen, Matt Cameron, The Linda Lindas, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, and a DJ set by artist Shepard Fairey.
