With the pending arrival of his latest full length effort, Performance due out this week via Dais, Robert Alfons, better known as TR/ST is set to deliver one of his most anticipated releases to date. Ahead of the album's arrival, the project co-produced by Alfons and composer and producer Nightfeelings is getting one more preview with the unveiling of the title track.
"Performance" showcases a deft balance of pop sensibilities in tandem with Alfons brooding, stylishly bleak production - making for an intoxicating listen that is both lush and vibrant, as well as ominous and brooding. Coupled with a new, cinematic video helmed by Bryan M. Ferguson with cinematography via George Harwood, the clip compliments the full artistry of TR/ST as the project begins a new chapter.
The arrival of Performance is coupled with grand plans of substantial touring in support of the release. TR/ST is set to begin a EU/UK run later this month, beginning September 30th in Prague, CZ and wrapping October 23rd in London. From there, TR/ST will kick off a North American tour that begins Halloween night in Washington, DC and closes out on November 23rd in Southern California.
