Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross Score Big At the Golden Globe Awards

The tandem took home the hardware for Best Score for their work on the Luca Guadagnino-directed film, Challengers.

Beating out a stacked field of some of 2024's most acclaimed films in The Brutalist, Emilia Pérez, Dune: Part Two and Conclave, the potent pair of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross took home top honors at the 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards on January 5th.

 

 

The duo was honored for their work in the category of Best Score for the film, Challengers, directed by Luca Guadagnino. Ross spoke at the podium and thanked his "best friend and musical partner, Trent Reznor." Ross additionally thanked Guadagnino for this vision and the film's star, Zendaya among others for their unwavering support.  

The effective and now award-winning combination of composers and director will continue their work together as both Reznor and Ross have worked on Guadagnino next thriller starring Julia Roberts entitled, After the Hunt

As for Reznor and Ross, their win at the Golden Globes marks the duo's third, adding to their swelling list of accolades that includes a pair of Oscar wins, a pair of Grammy awards and an Emmy Award.
