Vans Warped Tour to Return in 2025

Vans Warped Tour to Return in 2025

- By Ramon Gonzales

The founder of the gamechanging tour, Kevin Lyman confirmed in a recent interview that an announcement is coming soon.

The last time the Vans Warped Tour spent the summer on the road was back in 2018. During it's tenure, the festival created the template for traveling festivals, broke all kinds of influential bands and essentially raised generations of fans with what became an annual tradition and for the bands on the tour - a rite of passage.

Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the beloved brand, Vans Warped Tour, after plenty of online speculation, will in fact be making a comeback next year. Speaking with Pollstar in a recent feature, founder Kevin Lyman, though keeping his cards close to his chest, confirmed that something was in the works.

“We have something cooking for 2025. Details should be ready in a few weeks,” Lyman told Pollstar.

Fans were last treated to a Warped Tour show back in 2019, following the final year of the traditional, routed city trek. Selecting three markets in Cleveland, Atlantic City and Mountain View, CA - Warped Tour marked their 25th anniversary but has remained dormant since.

This year, Lyman along with industry vets in Hopeless Records' Eric Tobin and Mike Kaminsky launched Idobi Radio Summer School. The 25-date festival that spanned the country featured a line-up of emerging voices in alt and pop punk ranging from Scene Queen, Magnolia Park, Stand Atlantic and more.

In line with the philanthropic DNA of Warped, Radio Summer School would generate much needed funds for various non-profits, attributing a dollar per ticket - giving continued support to the charities in the Unite the United network.
