Connecticut brutalizers Vomit Forth recently debuted their well-received death metal masterclass Terrified of God via Century Media Records. The band is currently trekking in support of the release, joining the likes of Dying Fetus and Black Dahlia Murder on their North American co-headlining tour.
Bolstering the first week of the album's release, Vomit Forth have shared a disturbing new visual for the single, "Salt" - showcasing the band's commitment to their sensory assault. Serving as the album's closing track, the single is punctuated with the line, "If I turn my back on it all, am I the one who’s Terrified Of God?” - underscoring a powerful finale, bringing the thematic weight of the album full circle.
Working with producer Randy Leboeuf, Vomit Forth went to work on their latest release with a very simple, very focused directive in mind. Vocalist Kane Gelaznik. explained the band's intentions were solely “To make the most unsettling, brutal, and scary death metal record of all time..." Confident in the end result Gelaznik confirmed, “We absolutely did that.”
