Watch the New Tour Doc from Boundaries, 'Death Is Little More'

- By Ramon Gonzales -->

Director Sarah Holick takes an unfiltered look at the reality of life on the road as the Connecticut band embark on their first headlining tour.

Following the acclaim of the band's 2024 LP, Death Is Little More, Connecticut prospects Boundaries were instantly thrust into the discussion among the emerging class of heavy music's new school. The band's emotive weight and hard-hitting composition made for an album that far-exceeded expectations and resonated with a new base of convinced fans.

As the band's reach grew, the clamor resulted in the band's taking on their first-ever headlining tour of the US, in support of the record. Showcasing selections from Death Is Little More, the band were met with packed rooms and energized crowds, all hellbent on experiencing the album in its raw, in the flesh format.

For filmmaker and visual artist Sarah Holick, the tour provided a unique opportunity to tell a story of burgeoning collective of artists as their work was resonating in real time. Turning on the camera, Holick captured the peaks and valleys associated with living out of a tour van. The resulting hour-long film is now the Death Is Little More Tour documentary.

“This documentary’s whole inception stems from the vision of visual artist, Sarah Holick. We wanted to share the experience of our first headlining tour in a way that other tour style documentaries don’t,” the band explained. “We focused on our mental state, the fear of disappointment internally to ourselves, externally to fans, the expectation to succeed, but above all else, how love, support, and friendship are life’s most invaluable gifts and with them we can all achieve more than we ever thought. ‘Afraid of everything, thankful for all of it.’”

A seamless mesh of testimonial from the individual members, combined with live footage make for comprehensive look at the reality of life on the road. Assessing the band's wins, losses and learning lessons, the film offers a glimpse in to the inner workings of Boundaries and their aspirations as artists.

The documentary lands as Boundaries prepare to resume touring next month supporting The Plot In You in the U.S. The band travels abroad for a headlining tour in April with Varials, Dagger Threat and No Face No Case flanking as support. Boundaries are also set to perform at Sonic Temple in Ohio and Welcome to Rockville in Florida festivals this spring, along with a brief stint supporting Killswitch Engage between the festival plays.
