Colorado's purveyors of Western metal, Wayfarer, continue to ride the groundswell of momentum from their AOTY candidate with the Arthur Rizk-produced American Gothic.

Hailed for it's bleak outlaw aesthetic combined with elite level songwriting, the fusion of subgenres covers the breadth of heavy music, resulting in a stylistic mesh asserts new blood among contemporary metal. Praised by fans and critics alike, the strength of the album has resulted in the band marking an important first in their decade-long career. 

This spring, the band will embark on their first-ever headlining tour of North America. With Sonja and Valdrin in tow, Wayfarer will head a month-long campaign, sharing selections from American Gothic live. 

Wayfarer guitarist/vocalist Shane McCarthy comments, "This tour has been a long time coming for us - it will actually be the band's first ever full US headlining tour in our 10+ year history. We are looking forward to hitting some places we have never been before (Wisconsin, Montana), some places we haven’t been in 7+ years (Philly, Boston etc), and of course returning to several of the places that have always brought it in the past.

We are thrilled to bring 'American Gothic' to the stage in a big way, and hugely thrilled to be doing so alongside a band the caliber of SONJA, a Philadelphia crew ripping talents that the world needs more of. It will be an honor to be on the road with them, and exciting as well to be joined by Cincinnati's Valdrin on a stretch of dates as a band that is on the cutting edge of American Black Metal."

Additionally, Wayfarer recently confirmed a one-night-only performance of American Gothic at the iconic Bluebird Theater in downtown Denver, CO. The show will include a solo acoustic performance by Paul Riedl of Blood Incantation and a performance from Denver Sound legends, Munly and the Lepercalians.
