Michigan veterans We Came As Romans have announced their full length studio album return, ALL IS BEAUTIFUL...BECAUSE WE'RE DOOMED, arriving August 22nd via SharpTone Records. Earlier this spring, the metalcore progressives began what would be their next iteration following the acclaim of 2022's Darkbloom - an album hailed by fans and critic alike for it's enormity.

Starting a succession of single releases with the launch of the anthemic, "bad luck," the band would double down with the release of "no rest for the dreamer" a month later. The commanding one-two would set a powerful precedent, laying the foundation for what would be the next era of We Came As Romans.

Coupled with the news of the pending full length, the band have unveiled a powerful, poignant third single in "culture wound". Soundtracked by WCAR's explosive, well-produced brand of heft, the track underscores the combined prowess of Dave Stephens, Joshua Moore, Lou Cotton, Andy Glass, and David Puckett.

The band spoke about the subtext of the track and how internal conflict and the concept of intrinsic good or bad is a battle that wages on in everyone. "culture wound is about taking a look inside and deciding which side of yourself is going to control your life. This song was written to question our human nature - is it inherently good or inherently selfish? Are we here to try and make something better for everyone or just survive for ourselves? All of the different "sides of ourselves" that we've discovered, struggled with, or left behind is really what this album is about, and our journey through all of those experiences is written in every song."

Officially launching the modern era of We Came As Romans, the band's Bad Luck World Tour is set to begin later this month with After The Burial, Currents and Johnny Booth. Starting out July 22nd in Toronto, the tour closes out with a historical homecoming at The Fillmore in Detroit on August 23rd - the day after the album is released. WCAR then treks to Europe and the UK to begin the Bad Luck European leg with Brand of Sacrifice. In addition, We Came As Romans are set to appear at major festivals including Warped Tour, Inkcarceration, and When We Were Young. See below for a complete list of dates and cities.
