Metalcore vets We Came As Romans have issued their first offering of new music since the resounding success of their 2022 full length campaign, Darkbloom.
On "Bad Luck," WCAR showcase their arena-ready sound with the rhythm section working cohesively to craft what amounts to an anthem of enormous proportions. Complete with stellar showing from frontman Dave Stephens, the track is a testament to the resilience of the band given the kind of adversity that has only served to galvanize them.
Stephens to that reality and how the newest track is especially personal to the band. “Bad Luck is a song that is so important to each of us. Lyrically, it’s about our journey as a band since the very beginning. We’ve faced so many setbacks and problems behind the scenes, and sometimes it feels like Bad Luck is all we have — but the way that we’ve persevered through all of them to become who we are today is the real story, not the issues along the way.”
The arrival of "Bad Luck" lands as WCAR prepare for a succession of live dates stretched throughout the remainder of the year. With confirmed appearances at Welcome To Rockville, Inkcarceration, a play at the return of Warped Tour, Louder Than Life and When We Were Young - just to name a few - the band looks to reassume their place atop metalcore's elite.
"Bad Luck," the new single from We Came As Romans is now available via SharpTone Records.
