Among two of the UK's most battle-tested, veteran collectives in While She Sleeps and Bury Tomorrow have announced plans to team up for comprehensive North American tour set to begin in the spring of 2025.
For While She Sleeps, the run marks an opportunity to share selections from their celebrated 2024 full length release, Self Hell. The tour also offers a second chance to resume where the band left off back in 2020, when a global pandemic forced While She Sleeps to pause their headlining run as the world was forced to hit pause for an unprecedented length of time.
For Bury Tomorrow, the tour announcement adds to the movement of the camp as the band have recently debuted a pair of new singles in "Villain Arc" and "What If I Burn" - beginning the eagerly awaited follow up to the band's lauded 2023 LP release, The Seventh Sun.
Bringing in added reinforcements to make this North American run especially potent, While She Sleeps and Bury Tomorrow have tapped Des Moines wrecking crew Vended to serve as special guest for the run. The band will open each night of the tour, showcasing selections from their 2024 self-titled debut.
While She Sleeps spoke of the news, "We're excited to be coming back to the USA and bringing a bunch of friends with us. We've been touring with Bury Tomorrow since 2010, so it's going to be special being on the other side of the world together."
The band also addressed why the tour is especially meaningful, "After sadly having our last USA headline run cut short on the West Coast by the dreaded 2020 Covid outbreak, we are picking up where we left off and are back with more energy than ever, well-oiled after a world tour celebrating the release of 'Self Hell.'
It will be amazing to bring this lineup to places we've never headlined before & after so many tours in the US supporting other bands, finally be able to play a more expansive set of the songs from the past 18 years. We can't wait to be back."
Tickets for the While She Sleeps/Bury Tomorrow co-headlining tour are due to go on sale starting December 13th.
