Among the more memorable instances during Ozzy's once-in-a-lifetime live farewell this summer, YUNGBLUD managed to steal the show in Birmingham in July at Back to the Beginning, bringing down the house with a stellar rendition of "Changes" that blared from Villa Park to worldwide audience.

Showcasing his enormous talent, the performance proved a highlight not only for it's undeniable musicality, but also YUNGBLUD's obviously sincerity and appreciation in being trusted to take on such a compelling, personal entry of the Ozzy catalog. The magnitude of the performance, stadium singalong and all, ultimately made YUNGBLUD a the perfect pick to pay tribute to Ozzy live for the 2025 edition of MTV's Video Music Awards ceremony at the UBS Arena in New York, NY.

Flanked by Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme and live Ozzy cohort, Adam Wakeman, YUNGBLUD took on a medley of Ozzy essentialls performing "Crazy Train," the previously mentioned "Changes" and a version of  "Mama, I'm Coming Home" that crescendoed with an appearance from Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith.
