The mighty Zakk Sabbath, the Black Sabbath passion project fronted by guitar icon Zakk Sabbath and completed celebrated dummer Joey Castillo along with veteran low end Robert "Blasko" Nicholson has announced plans to ride out on a lengthy American Winter Tour.
While this trek will feature a slightly different configuration of Zakk Sabbath, John "JD" DeServio of the Black Label Society will be stepping in for Blasko, who has recently reassumed his post with Rob Zombie. The American Winter Tour will feature the power trio taking on timeless Sabbath tracks live, executed with with the kind of intensity and intricacy that show a real reverence for the music.
The tour begins October 30th in Rancho Mirage, CA and extends some 34-dates, spotting the country before circling back to the West Coast to finish out on December 16th in San Diego, CA. The American Winter Tour will also feature a pair of authentic tribute band sets with Bonfire paying homage to AC/DC and Use Your Illusion performing the greatest hits of Guns N Roses. Additionally, Dario Lorina of Black Label Society will be joining the caravan, fronting his blues rock project, Dark Chapel.
