Zakk Wylde is taking his living tribute to Black Sabbath on the road for a run of winter shows on the King Of The Monstours. The run will mark the digital release Greatest Riffs, a collection celebrating timeless BLACK SABBATH and the incomparable Tony Iommi. The collection touts a curated selection of tracks as revisited by the trio of Wylde along with drummer Joey Castillo and Robert "Blasko" Nicholson.
For the first time ever, Greatest Riffs will be made available on all major streaming platforms. This digital release sources the most essential highlights from ZAKK SABBATH albums Vertigo and Doomed Forever Forever Doomed, which were only available as physical releases previously.
The rigorous 30-date trek positions Zakk Sabbath atop a hefty bill supported by Led Zeppelin tribute ZOSO and the all-female shredders of The Iron Maidens. The trifecta consists of some of the best, most authentic tributes in the space - all of which aim to do the their predecessors justice through their performances. The tour kicks of December 1st in San Francisco wraps into the new year, closing out January 12th in Oklahoma City, OK.
Of the tour, Zakk Wylde shared his perspective, "I was asked to name five essential things that make life great, 1. Great Friend, 2. Great Pizza, 3. BLACK SABBATH, 4. LED ZEPPELIN, 5. IRON MAIDEN."
