Otherworldly duo ZETRA have submitted their first showing of new music since the lauded release of their 2024 self-titled debut. The single lands following the band's highlight performance at Rock Am Ring/Rock Im Park in Germany and precedes their highly-anticipated set at Download Festival this weekend.
"So" offers another powerful testament to ZETRA's expansive, immersive sound - bridging mysterious, enigmatic imagery with consuming, ethereal soundscapes. Along with the latest single, ZETRA have also released a pair of B-sides from their self-titled sessions with the equally bewitching, "Shards Of Power" and "A Queen Ascends".
Cryptically speaking on the significance of "So," ZETRA shared,
"Can we believe the lie?
The membrane shudders to the touch
Alive within the mind, a barrier between two worlds.
Will there be peace beyond the veil?
Or is chaos ever raging?
It is so.
Zetra are reborn."
The release of "So" also follows the band's recent Steve Strange Award, earned following ZETRA's memorable set at The Great Escape Festival. The honor was created to pay tribute to the spirit and legacy of iconic music agent and festival founder, Steve Strange.
Along with the reveal of new music. ZETRA will showcase their otherworldly set at Download Festival and has been tapped to support the elusive PRESIDENT for an eagerly-awaited headlining set later next month. See the dates below.
