Hip Hop Renegades: $UICIDEBOY$ Pave Their Own Lane with Grey Day 2026

With supporting sets from Shoreline Mafia, Shakewell and Drain, the New Orleans antiheroes prove one of the culture's most proven champions.

On stage monsters trucks, synchronized pyrotechnics and a supporting cast that pooled cult championed hip hop with surging hardcore hitters, $uicideboy$ have again raised the bar with the 2027 edition of their Grey Day Tour.

The extensive run of amphitheaters across the country settled in for a Saturday spectacular at Southern California's Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino that drew a massive crowd of devotees in what feltt like church.

Out in support of the duo's mammoth double helping in 2025 with THY KINGDOM COME and THY WILL BE DONE respectively, Ruuby and $crim began their marathon set with a thudding rendition of "Leviticus" that prompted a collective wave across the field. Running through a succession of heaters including "2009 Reggie Bush," "BLOODSWEAT" the $uicideboy$ had the fans fixed.

Transitioning to cuts from THY KINGDOM COME, the West-coast snap of "Napoleon" and the heavy-groove of the BONES-assisted "Now and At the Hour of Our Death" spoke to the relevance of the New Orleans duo.

Wildly prolific with a catalog that has kept an insane pace throughout their career, Ruby and Scrim could have easily played hours worth of greatest hits but instead managed to get the same pop with a setlist that has yet to marinate to its full potential.

Anchoring the lengthy setlist, $uicideboy$ kept a cache of fan essentials at the ready with deeper cuts like "Memoirs of A Gorilla," "Clouds As Witnesses" and the anthemic "Meet Mr. NICEGUY" scoring highlight moments on the night.

Closing out proper with no encore, no cheese, Ruby and Scrim completed an onstage sprint with the trifecta of "Antartica," "Kill Yourself III" and the singalong farewell of "...And to Those I Love, Thanks For Sticking Around" that proved the price of admission. Among hip-hop's most consistent contributors, few artists carry the clout of $uicideboy$ and even fewer have achieved it on their own terms.

Eight years and counting, Grey Day continues to cement the Louisiana's tandem as cultural leaders and underground champions.
