Despite a moratorium on live shows, the guys in Suicide Silence are concocting creative ways to ensure they are amongst their fans. Charging ahead with their ambitious Virtual World Tour that will span 14 countries on 5 continents throughout the month July, the band has really set the bar for adapting to such turbulent times.
Each of these performances are geo-gated, meaning that only fans in the surrounding areas of these tour stops will have access to the performance stream. The professionally-shot, multi-camera performance will include content specific to each city as well as a post show Q & A with the band,adding an interactive element.
Ahead of the tour however, Suicide Silence will give fans the chance to revisit their 2015 Mental Health America Benefit show, a hometown performance that coincided with the band's Live & Mental release.
The broadcast is set to air exclusively on KNOTFEST.com on Saturday June 20th. To mark the occasion, the band's guitarist Mark Heylmun has curated a playlist of heavy essentials to get warmed-up with. Among the selections include a whose who of death metal pioneers that have no doubt made an impact on Suicide Silence.
