2025 is shaping up to be a pivotal year for metal's madcap collective in Avatar. Currently working on their tenth full length studio album in the follow up to their acclaimed 2023 LP, Dance Devil Dance, the band was recently confirmed for slate of stadium dates supporting Metallica on the M72 World Tour.
Now, the band have confirmed what looks to be their most ambitious headlining run of live dates in the States yet with the confirmation of the comprehensive 'In The Airwaves USA' tour set for this fall. The tour begins November 5th in Phoenix, AZ and spans some 25 dates before concluding with a finale in Dallas, TX on December 7th.
The band commented on the announcement of the tour and offered an indication of the scope of the trek. "The past few years have been a dream. What we have done on stage and how many we have done it in front of, goes beyond anything we have the right to ask for. Any sensible person would submit to the fact that there is nowhere to go from here but down.
We are not sensible people.
What we have in store for you, what we are committing to achieve in this new era of Avatar will put everything that has happened up until this point to shame. We have been given so much and we are only just starting to be able to return the favor. We don’t deserve you, but when we are done with you this time, we will. The flame burns brighter than ever. When you come out and see us, you will understand. Don’t miss it."
