Swedish melodic metal greats Katatonia have added to their live itinerary for 2026, confirming a run of North American headlining dates surrounding the band's supporting plays with Opeth.

The Waking State of North America 2026 tour will feature Katatonia at the top of the bill, showcasing selections from their most recent full length studio album, Nightmares as Extensions of the Waking State.

The run of headlining plays begins February 9th in Pittsburgh, PA and rounds out March 12th with a finale in Brooklyn. Jonas Renkse, architect of Katatonia expressed his excitement to share the new album with their North American fans. ”USA and Canada! On top of our run with Opeth, we’re also bringing our own headline shows to your shores, something you wouldn’t wanna miss. See you all in the parlour of dusk. Get your tickets now!"

Tickets for the run of headlining dates are set to go on sale November 7 at 10am local time.
