En route to the March 13th release of the band's milestone, tenth full length studio album, The Father of Make Believe, Coheed and Cambria have added to their growing slate of tour dates with another North American trek due to kick off this summer. The announcement adds to the band's itinerary which already includes their Spring run alongside Mastodon and Periphery on The Infinite Arc tour that begins in May.
Coheed's summer stretch will be a co-headlining bill with Taking Back Sunday in a pairing that broadens the band's reach and underscores the kind of versatility in their sound. The tour will feature support from Foxing and begins August 16th n St. Louis, MO and includes important stops in Toronto, Boston, Atlanta and performances at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver and a play at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
Along with the announcement of the summer co-headliner, Coheed and Cambria have released another preview from The Father of Make Believe with the drop of arguably the band's most accessible entry to date. "Someone Who Can" is an anthem of reflection that speaks to the growing pains that everyone experiences. Frontman Claudio Sanchez explains, “When you’re growing up, you’re perpetually trying to understand the world that’s changing around you. Over time, it’s comforting to reach the conclusion that you’ll never truly have things figured out.”
