Following the band's recent celebration of their 25th anniversary that included a headlining play at New England Metal & Hardcore Festival last month, in addition to handful of fest appearances and a run of Australian dates, Killswitch Engage has confirmed big plans for 2025.
Currently working on new music, KsE has announced they will make their live return on North American soil with a mammoth spring tour - their first since 2022. Adding to the excitement of the run, Killswitch Engage has tapped a dynamic line-up of support that prominently features heavy music's new blood.
Kublai Khan TX, Fit For A King and frigid Texas death metal unit Frozen Soul will join Killswitch in what will be an auspicious start to the touring season. The stretch of dates starts out March 5th in Nashville and reaches its finale on April 12th in Portland, Maine.
KsE frontman Jesse Leach weighed in on the announcement and expressed his outlook on what's to come from the band. "Excited is an understatement for the way that I feel about this tour," enthused Leach.
"We will be playing a solid amount of new songs, as well as old. That alone makes me very stoked. On top of all that, the lineup we have chosen is a powerful and eclectic blend of hardcore and metal with Kublai Khan TX, Fit For a King, and Frozen Soul. It is going to make for a really great live experience for everybody who comes to check out this tour."
Leach also shared how the tour lines up well with where KsE is as a band currently. "I feel like the band is firing on all cylinders and the timing for this tour couldn't be more perfect. This will be a tour to be remembered...mark my words."
Tickets for the Spring 2025 tour are set to go on sale starting November 1st at 10am local time. Ahead of the general on sale, KNOTFEST.com will host an exclusive pre-sale event.
