‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’ December 5th (Theaters)

One year has passed since the supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. The stories about what transpired there have been twisted into a campy local legend, inspiring the town’s first ever Fazfest. Former security guard Mike (Josh Hutcherson) and police officer Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail) have kept the truth from Mike’s 11-year-old sister, Abby (Piper Rubio), concerning the fate of her animatronic friends. But when Abby sneaks out to reconnect with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy, it will set into motion a terrifying series of events, revealing dark secrets about the true origin of Freddy’s, and unleashing a long-forgotten horror hidden away for decades.

In this latest drama from Noah Baumbach (Marriage StoryWhite Noise), famous movie actor Jay Kelly (George Clooney) embarks on a journey of self-discovery, confronting his past and present with his devoted manager Ron (Adam Sandler). Poignant and humor-filled, pitched at the intersection of regrets and glories, Jay Kelly looks to be yet another Baumbach masterpiece.

‘Dust Bunny’ December 12th (Theaters)

Ten-year-old Aurora (Sophia Sloan) has a mysterious neighbor (Mads Mikkelsen) who kills real-life monsters. He’s a special hit man for hire. So, when Aurora needs help killing the monster she believes ate her entire family, she procures his services. Suspecting that her parents may have fallen victim to assassins gunning for him, Aurora’s neighbor guiltily takes the job. Now, to protect her, he’ll need to battle an onslaught of assassins - and worse.

 

‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’ December 12th (Netflix)

Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) returns for his most dangerous case yet in the third and darkest chapter of Rian Johnson’s eclectically acclaimed murder mystery opus. Starring Craig, Josh O’Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church, Wake Up Dead Man follows Detective Benoit Blanc as he solves the murder of a monsignor.
