‘We Bury the Dead’ January 2nd (Theaters)

After a catastrophic military disaster strikes Australia, the dead don't just begin to rise, they hunt. Ava (Daisy Ridley) joins a body retrieval unit in the hopes of searching for her missing husband, but what she finds is far more terrifying. From writer and director Zak Hilditch (1922Rattlesnake) comes the latest, and genuinely disturbing, vision of zombie apocalypse.

 

‘Primate’ January 9th (Theaters)

Lucy's (Johnny Sequoyah) tropical island homecoming turns deadly when her family's clever chimpanzee, Ben (Miguel Torres Umba), becomes rabid. With her father away and no help coming, paradise becomes a prison as Lucy and her friends fight for survival against a pet they once trusted. Director Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down) returns to the big screen with this slice of campy January horror.

 

‘Greenland 2: Migration’ January 9th (Theaters)

Picking back up after the surprise 2020 hit, in the aftermath of a comet strike that decimated most of the earth, Greenland 2: Migration follows the Garrity family (Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin, and Roman Griffin Davis) as they’re forced to leave the safety of their bunker in Greenland to traverse a shattered world in search of a new home.

 

‘28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’ January 16th (Theaters)

Continuing the newfound legacy of last year's astounding 28 Years LaterThe Bone Temple shifts the focus to Dr. Kelson (Ralph Fiennes). He finds himself in a shocking new relationship with consequences that could change the world as he knows it, while Spike's (Alfie Williams) encounter with Jimmy Crystal (Jack O'Connell) becomes a nightmare he can't escape.

 

‘Dead Man’s Wire’ January 16th (Theaters)

Based on a true story, the 1977 kidnapping of a prominent banker (Dacre Montgomery) grips the nation and turns the abductor into an outlaw folk hero (Bill Skarsgård). As the media frenzy peaks, the standoff becomes a spectacle of desperation, defiance and blurred justice, which resonates even today.

In the near future, a detective (Chris Pratt) stands on trial accused of murdering his wife. He has 90 minutes to prove his innocence to the advanced A.I. Judge (Rebecca Ferguson) he once championed, before it determines his fate.

 

‘Return to Silent Hill’ January 23rd (Theaters)

When a mysterious letter calls him back to Silent Hill searching for his lost love, James (Jeremy Irvine) finds a once-recognizable town and encounters figures both familiar and new and begins to question his own sanity. Director Christophe Gans, who helmed the original 2006 film, returns with a new terrifying vision.

 

‘Send Help’ January 30th (Theaters)

The incomparable Sam Raimi is back again with his next original flick, Send Help. Linda Liddle (Rachel McAdams) and Bradley Preston (Dylan O’Brien), are two colleagues who find themselves stranded on a deserted island after they are the only survivors of a plane crash. On the island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but ultimately, it becomes an unsettling and darkly humorous battle of wills and wits to make it out alive. 

 

‘The Moment’ January 30th (Theaters)

In this stylish mockumentary, Charlie XCX plays a fictionalized version of herself, a rising pop star who navigates the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour debut.
