Danzig has finally released the first look at his second feature film, Death Rider in the House of Vampires. Following the 2019 release of his cult-driven, art house horror flick Verotika, Danzig's second outing is compelling mesh of cinematic subgenera - marrying the Spaghetti Western with the timeless vampire film.
In addition to appearing in the film himself as Bad Bathory, Danzig wrote, directed, produced, and scored the film, taking on the entirely of the creative heavy lifting.
Danzig also enlisted the help of some notable stars for the film, including Devon Sawa ('Final Destination'/ The Exorcism of Molly Hartley') as The Death Rider, Julian Sands ('Arachnophobia'/'A Room With a View') as Count Holliday, Kim Director ('Book of Shadows: Blair With 2'/ 'Summer of Sam') as Carmilla Joe, director and horror authority Eli Roth as Drac Cassidy, Ashley Wisdom as Mina Belle, Victor DiMattia ('The Sandlot') as Kid Vlad, and Machete himself Danny Trejo as Bela Latigo.
The trailer for the film has been published via The Wrap which also detailed the following with regards to the plot of the movie. "Death Rider in the House of Vampires follows the Death Rider, who travels to the desert Vampire Sanctuary, ruled by Count Holliday. The price of admission... one untouched virgin."
The first look at the film includes fangs, plenty of blood, and some NSFW nudity. There is no release date set yet but more details are expected soon. Watch the trailer below.
