Teaming with Tokyo noise punk Tetsunori Tawaraya, Element has launched their collaborative collection of apparel and skatedecks featuring Tawaraya's handiwork. With a signature that is sandwiched somewhere between surreal and sci-fi, combined with his DIY ethos, has made Tawaraya's body of work the stuff of legend.

From his comics to his prints, to his books, everything Tawaraya produces becomes a collector's item. Having already collaborated with the likes of Brain Dead and Volcom, his most current partnership with Element is coupled with the names of skateboarding sensations like Jaakko Ojanen, Brandon Westgate, and Nyjah Huston.

Element has released a 4-minute video chronicling the inspiration and methodology of Tawaraya. The insight to his approach to music (Tawaraya fronts the band 2up - along the lines of Boredums and Melt-Banana) and illustration set among the backdrop of Tokyo, makes for an intriguing mini-feature.
