Leave it to streetwear authority Supreme to land an outta left-field collaboration with ageless art punks, Melvins. The prolific lords of Pacific Northwest sludge have been producing an ungodly amount of music during their enduring four decade tenure. With more than 30 full length albums to their credit, the band's influence has transcended generation and genre - with a catalog that spans punk, metal, industrial, ambient, jazz, electronic and even country for good measure.
For the band's latest cultural superpunch, Melvins have teamed with Supreme to release a limited spring capsule featuring some of the band's most definitive artwork spanning their vast catalog. Sourcing inspiration from entries like 1987's Gluey Porch Treatments to 1994's Stoner Witch to 1991's Bullhead, to the beloved two-headed dog of 1993's Houdini, the collection features some of the band's most enduring work as contemporary wearables ideal for the season.
The Supreme x Melvins capsule includes a BDU jacket, the S/S polo, hooded sweatshirt and T-shirts in various colorways with various album references as well as headwear, all featuring Melvin’s iconography and Supreme’s tastefully integrated logo.
The collection is due to be released via the Supreme webstore on May 9th. Shop the collection - HERE
