There's no doubt the Off White x Jordan 5 is on everyone's radar this weekend, and if it's not you're lying to yourself. Does anyone have a legit chance at hitting on them this Thursday? No, but thank the sneaker gods there are a few more dope releases coming this weekend.
Being that Halloween is this weekend, it's only appropriate that we include a couple spooky themed kicks as well.
Here's this week's sneakers that need to be added to our closets.
Nike Air Force 1 "Skeleton"
Release: Oct 28, 2020 on Nike SNKRS App | Price: $130
This heavily themed Air Force 1 features a pumpkin orange leather upper, with glow in the dark midsole and a skeleton foot graphic printed on the side. This pair follows the white pair that released back in 2018 and last year's black pair. However, those only had glow in the dark outsoles. The full glow-in-the-dark outsole and midsole just look so much better against that orange leather. This pair definitely stands out from it's predecessors.
Ghostbusters x Reebok Classic Leather
Release: Oct 31, 2020 at Reebok | Price: $100
The Reebok Classic Leather is already a shoe everyone needs at least one pair of. Like it's namesake, it's a classic. This pair just happens to be themed after one of the best movie franchises of all time, Ghostbusters. This pair is actually being released with a more gimmicky Ghostmasher pair that was created for this collaboration. The casual Classic leather is dressed in tan to mimic the ghostbuster jumpsuits and it even has its own name badge.
Air Jordan 1 "Dark Mocha"
Release: Oct 31, 2020 on Nike SNKRS App | Price: $170
Just when you thought you were tired of Jordan 1s Nike releases another color way that you have to have. Its hard to miss the similarities to the Travis Scott "Cactus Jack" Jordan 1, we can't help but admire its resemblance to the "Trail End Brown" SB Dunk from 2007. But it could be that we're just suckers for brown leather sneakers.
Notre x Vault By Vans Old Skool Collection
Release: Oct 31, 2020 at Notre | Price: $70
The Notre motto is “There are many ways of doing things besides your own.” It's a message of togetherness and the co-branding of the classic Vans' stripe and Notre's handshake graphic exemplifies the hell out of that message. Brands are very careful when it comes to their labels but these two brands put together something beautiful. The Old Skools come in Burgundy, blue, black and white.
Off-White™ x Air Jordan 5 “Sail”
Release: Oct 29, 2020 on Nike SNKRS App | Price: $225
This Off White Jordan 5 was first teased on a runway during this year's NBA All Star Game in Chicago. Funny thing is the grey pair released that weekend leaving everyone to wonder when this color would release. Well our question has been answered. Virgil Abloh takes his signature deconstructive style and removed all of the padding usually included in the collar and tongue of the shoe. The shoes also include his famous branding on the medial side of the shoe and is it really an Off White if it doesn't have the zip tie? Yes these shoes are hyped beyond all hell but they're dope and would look good with any fall season fit.
