Like we stated last week, we maybe approaching the end of the year but the releases are getting bigger and better. The sneakers we've spent all year ogling at through sneak peeks and sample pictures are finally releasing.
Here are the five shoes we want to add to our collections this week.
Nike ACG Mountain Fly GORE-TEX “Khaki”
Release: Nov. 12, 2020 on Nike SNKRS App | Price: $220
New models nowadays don't get the hype they deserve, at least not on a regular basis. Although the Nike ACG line is seeing a much needed resurgence, it's great to see Nike is doing it with new shoes and not relying on retro models. However, we wouldn't mind an Air Mowabb re-release. The Mountain Fly is dressed in a water-proof GORE-TEX shroud (cue George Costanza) and is offered in black and khaki.
Kid Cudi x Adidas Artillery Hi "Bill & Ted"
Release: Nov. 12, 2020 on Adidas | Price: $90
The heavy 80/90's vibes are what makes the shoe exceptionally great. Kid Cudi has been sporting the Artillery Hi lately but this version is extra special. Fans of the Bill & Ted franchise may recognize these hi-tops as the signature footwear of Bill S. Preston Esq. and Ted "Theodore" Logan. The homage to the movie franchise wouldn't be complete without the fictional rock band's Wyld Stallyns logo on the heel. The Bill & Ted collection includes three different versions of this rad sneaker.
Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle
Release: Nov. 13, 2020 on Nike SNKRS App | Price: $180
The Japanese luxury brand is hitting us with another waffle runner, the second in as many years. We've also seen a few Blazers but there's something about the running silhouette with the double stacked midsole and extra length in the heel. The VaporWaffle combines the VaporFly with the classic Pegasus from 1983. Both running shoes, old and new, are iconic when it comes to running shoe technology. To see these two shoes combined marks a true crossroad between style and function.
Anderson .Paak x Vans Old Skool
Release: Nov. 13, 2020 at Vans.com | Price: $TBA
Anderson .Paak has joined Vans as their first Global Music Ambassador, and they're celebrating by releasing a black and white striped pair of Vans Sid DX, a colorful pair of Old Skools both complete with matching bucket hats. The vibrant yellow, blue and red Old Skool's pay homage to Paak's album, Venice.
Air Jordan 1 High OG CO.JP "Midnight Navy"
Release: Nov. 14, 2020 on Nike SNKRS App | Price: $170
This navy, white and silver iteration of the Air Jordan 1 is a re-release of the Japan-exclusive from 2000. This is the second of the Japan-exclusives to release, the first came in the form of the neutral grey and metallic silver pair back in August. Some folks feel the abundance of Jordan 1s is tarnishing the legacy of this sacred model. We say, if Jordan Brand is going to continue with these OG releases, we're all for it.
