Bryan Garris, singer of Knocked Loose, talks band's success, best gas station food and ambition to be an English Teacher

Bryan Garris, singer of Knocked Loose, joins The Downbeat this week.

Host Craig Reynolds hit the finer talking points of this week's installment. "Over the last few years Knocked Loose have exploded from small DIY hardcore shows to headlining over bands much their senior. I've always admired how humble they've remained through it all, and talking to Bryan this week was no different. We talked about the band's success, his unlikely ambition to be an English teacher, and more importantly which gas stations have the best food, amongst other things!"

The conversation also included the Knocked Loose's brush with the current Covid crisis as the band was in Southeast Asia during the early months of the pandemic. In fact, Bryan would come incredibly close to being caught in the middle of Trump's travel ban and the story is worth the listen.
