Mother of Graves began in mourning, and Where the Shadows Adorn became their outlet

- By Matt Rushton

Chris Morrison of Indianapolis doom troupe Mother of Graves joins Jon "StayPuft" Garcia and Cori Wesbrook on KNOTFEST's Pulse of the Maggots.

The album released to rousing success, selling out of all physical copies and landing on Bandcamp's Top 10 list for all genres. Morrison shares how the band started during a period of mourning of a friend and band mate, which certainly colored the mournful death metal they pursue. He also shares how the band create their music, as well as their desire for listeners to feel something to their songs. Finally, Chris gives brief insight on why Indianapolis is such a hotbed for heavy and extreme metal at the moment.
