The 30-date run will include supporting sets from Miss May I and Thornhill.
Though it is a long way off, the announcement of big tours feels like a distant light at the end of this long, arduous tunnel.
Adding a bit of good news to world, the tandem of Bury Tomorrow and August Burns Red have announced a massive co-headlining tour that will begin next fall in the UK.
The 30-date run will include supporting sets from Miss May I and Thornhill, completing an exciting bill of some of the genre’s most proven bands.
Despite the stagnant pace of 2020, both headlining bands have made major strides this year. Bury Tomorrow released their well-received full-length, Cannibal. August Burns Red released their critically-heralded Guardians. The pairing brings together two of the genre’s most exciting live bands, riding high on the strength of quality records.
Bury Tomorrow frontman Dani Winter Bates offered the following.
“In such a crazy year, we are immensely proud of the success ‘Cannibal’ has had and continues to have. We are sure that, like us, our fans and fans of live music in general are so excited to be able to return to what connects us the most: shows, festivals and gigs. We are excited to announce our new headline tour for next year playing some of our favourite places to play and giving us all something amazing to look forward to. We are stoked to be doing this run with the phenomenal August Burns Red, a band that all five members respect and enjoy musically. This is truly one not to miss!”
