AEW Full Gear Preview & Predictions Plus All The Wrestling News Headed Into A Busy Weekend

- By Rob Pasbani

Columnist Rob Pasbani gets you up to date on all the big shows this weekend and all the news and gossip leading up to AEW Full Gear.

It's AEW Full Gear weekend and we couldn't be more excited at Knotfest Wrestling. We'll be attending the event live and recording some fun post-show video outside the venue, so be on the lookout for our cameras.

Later today, hosts Colin Young, Jordan Olds and Robert Pasbani met up in Brooklyn to discuss AEW Full Gear predictions. Keep an eye on the Knotfest Youtube page later today for that video. We will go through the entire card and predict what we think will happen. Take a look:

Here's the announced lineup as of this writing with some quick predictions

AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley (c) vs. MJF
Prediction: It feels like it's MJF's time to win the title, but the question will be how? Will he cheat? Will William Regal turn on Moxley? Or will he win it fair and square? That's the intrigue going into Saturday.

ROH World Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Bryan Danielson vs. Sammy Guevara vs. Claudio Castagnoli
Prediction: I feel it's too early for Jericho to lose, although he can do so here without being pinned. If anybody but Jericho is leaving with the title, I would be surprised.

Interim AEW Women's World Championship: Toni Storm (c) vs. Jamie Hayter
Prediction: I think its Jamie Hayter's time.

AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens) (c) vs. Swerve In Our Glory (Swerve Strickland & Keith Lee)
Prediction: The Acclaimed retains!

AEW Trios Championship: Death Triangle (PAC, Penta El 0 M, and Rey Fenix) vs. The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks)
Prediction: I am so happy to have Kenny back and I think they are going to win the titles.

Steel Cage: Luchasaurus vs. Jungle Boy
Prediction: Feels like Jungle Boy needs to win here.

TNT Championship: Wardlow (c) vs. Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Samoa Joe
Prediction: I can see Wardlow pinning Joe here.

TBS Championship: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Nyla Rose
Prediction: Jade wins!

Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal vs. Sting & Darby Allin
Prediction: We are going to see some bullshit finish leading to Jarrett and Lethal winning.

Saraya vs. Britt Baker
Prediction: Saraya needs the win here.

Wrestling News from Around the Internet

Dave Meltzer reported that Chelsea Green is more than likely WWE-bound, saying that the creative team have been told to proceed as if she is joining the roster. Rumors persist that the former Zack Ryder, Matt Cardona, is also somebody WWE is interested in.

Cardona recently was asked by WrestlingNews.co if he would answer the rumors and he responded “No. (He would not answer that). I’m the Internet Champion. Of course, I see what’s being talked about. Let the people talk. I’m a former tag team champion, former Intercontinental Champion, former United States champion. I do have some unfinished business. To quote Justin Bieber, never say never.”

The former Bronson Reed, Jonah, also has a WWE offer on the table and is weighing his options between WWE and New Japan, according to Meltzer.

CM Punk's recovery from his torn triceps is going well. However, Dave Meltzer reports that Colt Cabana returning on AEW TV a few weeks ago "only made things worse" in the relationship between Punk and Cabana. Punk is adamant that he had nothing to do with Cabana being gone, and with the revelation that it was Tony Khan's decision to bring back Cabana there is heat on Punk's side. Meltzer reports "A lot of talent in AEW believes and insists differently and it’s openly talk about." Punk is still under contract with merchandise being sold at AEW events.

Meltzer also reported that friends of Adam Cole are concerned that he hasn't been cleared yet. He has been out since June's Forbidden Door PPV dealing with a concussion.

The Men's Survivor Series match was confirmed by PWInsider to be The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn) vs. Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Butch, Ridge Holland and Kevin Owens. Kevin Owens has been in the WWE Performance Center rehabbing his sprained MCL since the weekend and is scheduled for Smackdown the next two weeks.

Jake Paul gave an update on his brother's injury to DAZN Boxing saying "He's doing better than expected. They thought it was supposed to be ACL but it just turned out to be MCL and meniscus, which is better. He's rehabbing it in LA and hoping for the best."

Jake Roberts shared a positive health update on Twitter writing "Off oxygen for good!! Standing tall doing great. At AEW AGAIN!! Sweet life I’m living!!" Perhaps we will see him on Rampage in Lance Archer's corner.

Vice will air a two-hour documentary titled “The Nine Lives of Vince McMahon”, will air on December 13 at 9 pm ET, documenting some of McMahon's misdeeds.

Sports Illustrated posted a retrospective on the tenth anniversary of The Sheild with new quotes from Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Jon Moxley.

Last night, Brody King's band, God's Hate, with our very own Colin Young on drums played Brooklyn and some AEW stars came out to show support. Darby Allin and Daniel Garcia were seen in the pit all night, as was Santana. Others attending included Eddie Kingston, Ethan Page, Darius Martin, Isiah Kassidy, Danhausen, and Ortiz.
