The trailer for this upcoming horror movie may unintentionally give off flashbacks to 2018's much-maligned Truth or Dare, but with any luck, Smile may actually be able to live up to the impact of its wonderfully terrifying premise and trailer. Basically, our main character is terrorized by people sporting spectacularly creepy smiles that'll really grab your attention. As the film's tagline says, "Once you see it, it's too late."
After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, Dr. Rose Cotter (Sosie Bacon) starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can't explain. As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past in order to survive and escape her horrifying new reality.
The film marks the feature debut of writer and director Parker Finn (Laura Hasn't Slept) and, along with Bacon in the lead role, will also star Kyle Gallner (Scream 2022), Jessie T. Usher (The Boys), Rob Morgan (Stranger Things) and Kal Penn. Check out the genuinely unsettling trailer below.
