Hardcore phenoms SPEED unveil poignant documentary capturing the band's first tour of Southeast Asia

Watch as the band lead their gospel of hardcore in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

Hard to imagine a band having a better first year run than Aussie hardcore juggernaut, SPEED. Debuting their highly-anticipated Flatspot Records EP, A Gang Called Speed to widespread acclaim last June, the collective has been on a live tear, showcasing their incendiary live set and making a community of converts along the way.

From the band's live US debut last summer at a sold out Sound and Fury Festival in Los Angeles, to their Aussie shows that have become the stuff of legend, to their recent conquest in their first-ever U.S. headlining tour that saw sold out shows across the board including a headlining showcase for Flatspot World in New York - SPEED continue to skyrocket.

As the band continues to further their international reach, SPEED recently traveled to Southeast Asia to spread their gospel of hardcore. Touching down for shows in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, the band was met with an enthusiastic reception, reiterating the health of hardcore continues to surge on a global level.

Capturing the magnitude of the tour, SPEED enlisted Darryl Carulli at 510haven to produce and co-direct a documentary presenting the trek and it's significance as more than just a succession of shows. Navigating language barriers and cultural differences, the poignant connection in the pit is presented in a way that offers a glowing testament to the power of art, music and community.

The documentary film arrives as the band prepares for an Australian tour later this month along with contemporaries Sunami and Scowl. The run is punctuated by a sold out appearance at Sydney's Back On The Map festival.

Continuing their whirlwind run on the strength of A gang Called Speed, the band will then begin their first-ever European headlining trek along with ZULU - a jaunt that will include a eagerly-awaited set at Outbreak Festival with the likes of Death Grips, Denzel Curry, Trapped Under Ice and more.

The band will then return to the states for a set of summer festival appearances - returning to the scene of their eruptive U.S. debut with another set at Sound and Fury in July and a set at This Is Hardcore in Philly a week later. A complete list of dates for the band can be found below.
