Hellfest 2022 unveils a historic 350 band line-up headed by Metallica, NIN, Guns N' Roses, Avenged Sevenfold, Faith No More, Deftones, and Scorpions

The colossal seven-day pilgrimage will span the scope of some 350 artists performing on six different stages.

To ensure that the two-year silence at Clisson comes back with a proper reintroduction, the organizers at Hellfest have assembled a once-in-a-lifetime kind of line-up for the 2022 installment of the global heavy music festival destination.

Adding a second weekend to the festivities, the initial June 17th through the 19th potion has been in the works since 2019 and features Deftones, Avenged Sevenfold and Faith No More handling the headlining. Heavyweights like Korn, Megadeth, Dropkick Murphys, Judas Priest, Volbeat, Deep Purple, Killing Joke, Sepultura, Obituary, Five Finger Death Punch and so many more have would have made that weekend alone an impressive collection, however, Hellfest organizers managed to raise the bar yet again.

The second weekend of Hellfest will begin on June 23rd and run though the 26th for a monumental four-days that will include anchoring performances by Scorpions, Nine Inch Nails, Guns N' Roses, and will close out with the holy grail of Metallica. Among the colossal collection of artists added to the entree second portion of the festival include essentials like Ministry, Black Label Society, Alice Cooper, Megadeth, Bring Me the Horizon, Wardruna, Nightwish, Hatebreed, Bad Religion, Rise Against, Decapitated, Carcass, Mercyful Fate and so many more, the list is truly unbelievable.

Given that the fist weekend is a iteration of the initial line up slated for two years ago, that portion of the festival is sold out and has been since then. However, tickets for the added four-days of this historic edition of the gathering at Clisson are currently available via Hellfest online.

In announcing the festival';s anniversary edition and expanded format, Hellfest organizers issued a statement thanking fans for being so supportive, thanking the bands and the people involved in pulling off such a heavy music feat, and detailing the grueling climb back in what has been over a year of uncertainty and turbulence.
