The footwear and apparel collection draws inspiration and a color palette from coastal California

The relationship between Nike and streetwear authority Stüssy is one that runs some two decades deep. In fact, Stüssy was the very first streetwear brand to ever collaborate with Nike back in 2000.

The latest collection from the tandem is said to draw inspiration from the landscape of coastal California and will feature the Nike x Stüssy Air Zoom Kukini as well as Nike x Stüssy Benassi slides.

The Stüssy apparel collaboration arrived July 24th and quickly sold out. The collection included a bucket hat, beach pant and beach shorts. The timeless Nike Windrunner jacket was co-branded and anchored the beach-inspired line.

The footwear is set to be released July 30th. The Air Zoom Kukini is a laceless slip-on that takes some style cues from the Air Zoom Spiridon Cage 2, a collaborative shoe release that Nike and Stüssy actually put out earlier this year. Staples of 90's footwear, the shoe is featured with “Black/Bright Cactus” and “White/Habanero Red” colorways. The slides are featured in the same black, "cactus," and "habanero" colors.

The footwear for the Nike X Stüssy Air Zoom Kukini and Stüssy Benassi slides drop arrives July 30th.
