The highly-anticipated album from the metal titans arrives sometime in 2021.

During a masterclass for an interactive Rock n Roll fantasy camp for fans, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine gave fans some incredible insight regarding the band’s highly-anticipated 2021 release.

During an exclusive Q & A with participants in the class, the new album was the topic of discussion. When asked about specifics, Mustaine offered the following.

“The tentative album title we have right now is called ‘The Sick, The Dying And The Dead’. We may change that, because there’s some other titles, and I usually change the titles four or five times before I settle on anything.”

When asked if he could share anything from the new album, or maybe play something on his guitar, Mustaine obliged and hit play, giving fans a few seconds of audio from the new record. Though the audio is tough to hear, the tease offers some idea of what the new music will sound like.

Drawing comparisons to Countdown to ExtinctionRust in Peace, Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying? and Dystopia, the album has earned high praise from Mustaine as one of the “top 5” albums in their catalog – plenty of reason to be excited about this record.
