A huge announcement of bands have been added to the June 2022 gathering at Donington Park.

The 2022 installment of the heavy music and hard rock destination at Donington Park for Download Festival just got a major boost.

In addition to the already announced headliners of KISS, Iron Maiden and Biffy Clyro, the June 2022 gathering will feature some 70 more artists including major marquee names like Deftones, Korn, Megadeth, Sepultura, The Ghost Inside, The Distillers, Lacuna Coil, Spiritbox, Venom Prison, Of Mice & Men, and so many more.

The updated version of the lineup comes as the festival has had to hit pause for two yeas in the wake of the global Covid-19 pandemic. Early in the pandemic that plagued 2020 and carried into 2021, Download was one of the first major festivals to cancel. Though things were hopeful for 2021, the focus moved towards 2022 and the result is a line-up that is shaping up to be well worth the wait. The most current line up for the festival can be seen below.

Download Festival will take place at Donington Park on June 10 – 12, 2022. Tickets are on sale now via downloadfestival.co.uk/tickets.
