The streaming event will broadcast over three days featuring marquee performances filmed at independent venues across the country.

The National Independent Venue Association has partnered with YoutubeMusic to launch an effort to help aide an estimate 90% of independent venues across the United States that are facing impending closures in the wake of the pandemic.

Save Our Stages Fest will feature performances from a collection of artists including Foo Fighters, Rise Against, Brittany Howard, Leon Bridges, Miley Cyrus, Portugal. The Man, Marshmello, G-Eazy, YG, Dave Matthews and many more all in an effort to raise funds and awareness in benefitting the nation’s live music and entertainment destinations.

The festival will broadcast from October 16th through October 18th and will feature performances filmed from different independent stages across the country. The stream will be free, however fans will be encouraged to donate to the NIVA Emergency Relief Fund.

The grim reality remains that unless assistance from the government is implemented, it’s estimated that 90% of independent music venues nationally will be forced to close their doors permanently.

Visit NIVA for complete details, artists, and a list of venues that will be a part of the stream.
