
In Flames and Ghostemane are among the 10 bands slated to takeover the Oberhausen Arena on July 30th, 2022.
Set to mark the significant milestone of a decade as the premiere counter culture destination festival, Slipknot has unveiled an expansion of their Knotfest banner with the announcement of Knotfest Germany in 2022.
Confirmed for July 30th, the congregation will convene in and around Rudolf Weber-ARENA in Oberhausen. Touting a layout that includes a spectacular open-air stage in addition to the main stage in the arena, Knotfest Germany will include 10 bands in total – an aggregate of the most engaging artists in the genre.
Among the artists already confirmed for the 2022 pilgrimage include Swedish progressive metal stalwarts, In Flames. Also earning prime positioning on the festival bill is genre-bending phenomenon, Ghostemane – with the remaining artists set to be announced in the coming weeks.
Curating and culminating the festivities, Slipknot will deliver their unparalleled live performance and introduce German fans to the Knotfest experience for the first-time ever. In addition, the Slipknot Museum will be presented on site, with arts & culture installations adding an interactive element for the 25,000 fans set to convene.
