The band will go live for an acoustic set of essentials broadcasting from their headquarters. The event will benefit the band’s All Within My Hands charity.
Metallica has announced plans to live stream an exclusive acoustic set of their essentials on November 14th.
The ‘Live & Acoustic’ event will be broadcasting from the band’s headquarters and will double as an auction of what will likely be an awesome collection of Metallica tangibles.
The live stream follows the band’s successful national drive-in screening that took place last month. This time around, Metallica will scale back the tunes and perform all acoustic in an effort to generate funds for their All Within My Hands charity.
“This special acoustic show starts at 2pm Pacific Time and will benefit our foundation, All Within My Hands. Don’t worry if you can’t catch it live, your ticket will allow you to watch the show as many times as you like within a 48-hour period once you start the stream. There are four ticket packages to choose from, and we’ll also be hosting an auction with some awesome items! 100 per cent of money raised goes directly to help someone in need.”
The ticketing options include top tier bundles that give fans the chance to score a limited edition shirt, the audio download of the set, and a spot on the virtual fan wall during the band’s performance. Standard tickets for access to the stream will run $15 with all proceeds benefitting All Within My Hands.
