AC/DC put a can in your hand with two new branded beers

The collaboration is said to be th first in a series of beers from the Knucklebonz Rock Iconz series.

Rock music icons AC/DC are loaning their likeness to not one, but two new branded beers with collectible specialists KnuckleBonz and craft beer purveyors Calicraft Brewing Company.

The first in the pair from KnuckleBonz and CaliCraft pays tribute to the band’s 1976 High Voltage era with their T.N.T. Double IPA. Then, the team celebrates the band’s most recent effort with a reunited line up and Brian Johnson back in the saddle with the PWR UP Juicy IPA. The announcement of the pair of the cans comes with the suggestion from the brewery and rock culture enthusiasts that this is only the start of the series of releases featuring artist that have participated in the Rock Iconz series.

“We are beyond excited to be collaborating with Calicraft on a new line of craft beers for music super-fans,” enthuses Tony Simerman, CEO of KnuckleBonz, Inc. ​“Many of the bands we have worked with in the Rock Iconz and 3D Vinyl Series will be coming to the new beverage line. There’s not a better band than AC/DC to kick this off.”

Among the artists featured via Knucklebonz Rock Iconz collectible series include, Metallica, Ghost, Motorhead, Pantera, Ozzy Osbourne, Mercyful Fate, Megadeth, Alice Cooper, and KISS, to name just a few.

As for the juice itself, the PWR UP IPA includes flavor profile packed with notes of passionfruit, peaches, and juicy mandarin while the T.N.T. Double IPA boasts accents of grapefruit, mango, and pine. Calicraft Beverage Company CEO Blaine Landberg added,  ​“Over the years, we’ve always stood for collaborations that go beyond beer. We value community and the arts. As music enthusiasts, we could not be more excited to work with our friends at KnuckleBonz and some of the most influential and groundbreaking musicians in history. Our collaboration is inspired by the band and is designed to be paired with their music. Great music and great beer – there is no better pairing!”

The beer will be available via “select retail” later this year with some regions having access to direct order via Cali Craft online.
