Coupled with the release of refreshed track is the launch of special edition “Masters of War” merch available via Victorious Merch.
To mark the milestone of the 20th anniversary of their seminal third full length album, purveyors of Viking culture and ambassadors of modern heft Amon Amarth have released a newly recorded version of “Masters of War” – one of the most beloved tracks from the LP.
The band’s frontman Johan Hegg shared what prompted the band to revisit the track. “Celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Crusher album, we felt we wanted to re-record one of the main songs from the album and put a bit of a modern Amon Amarth touch on it. Enjoy!”
Coupled with the reveal of the updated version of the cut comes the news of a launch of special edition ‘Masters of War” merchandise including tees and a hoodie that will be available exclusively though Amon Amarth’s digital store – Victorious Merch.
The re-recoding of “Masters of War” underscores the band’s more than two decade-long tenure as pioneers of their sound. Punctuated by Amon Amarth’s most recent full length effort in 2019’s Berserker, the Swedish standouts have gone onto amass more than 547 million streams spanning their illustrious catalog and racked up more than 2 million albums sold across the globe.
