UK metalcore juggernaut Architects have unveiled plans to tour North America later this year in support of their colossal ninth full length studio album, For Those That Wish To Exist.
The 21-date affair will commence November 2nd in Los Angeles and will include a festival appearance on the massive line up featured at Welcome To Rockville slated for November 11th in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Performing songs from their universally-lauded album that is as much a call to action as it is a metalcore masterpiece, the band’s success has been affirmed by a #1 debut on the Digital Album Chart, #6 on the Current Rock Album chart, and #80 on the Billboard 200.
Specifically, the singles “Meteor,” “Dead Butterflies,” “Black Lungs,” and towering single “Animals” have racked up more than 58 million streams and 18 million-plus YouTube views. Singling out “Animals,” the track managed to chart Top 5 at rock radio.
Tackling weighty themes pertaining to the human condition and impact on the environment, For Those That Wish To Exist takes a critical examination of the path humanity has set for the world and how it can strive to make it better. Part protest, part call to action, the album is as uplifting as it is progressive.
