Chelsea Grin debut Trevor Strnad collaboration, “Forever Bloom”

The third preview of from the band’s pending November 11th release includes a guest assist from the departed Black Dahlia Murder frontman.

Earlier this summer, Salt Lake City brutalizers Chelsea Grin unveiled the scope of their pending double LP with Suffer In Hell and it’s counterpart Suffer in Heaven. With the former set to land November 11th and the latter arriving early 2023 with a March 17th date, the band introduced the project with a pummeling first cut in “Origin of Sin“.

Quickly following up on the momentum of the announcement, the band quickly unleashed a second assault with the release of the follow-up single, “The Isnis”. A vile, violent, and relentless track that wielded a heavy sword, landing with all of the heft that Chelsea Grin has long been championed for.

Now, Chelsea Grin has submitted their third offering from the album which includes a special guest feature from the late, great Trevor Strnad of The Black Dahlia Murder. Offering a bit of lightheartedness, the track’s levity in theme does not mean the band compromise the compositional weight of the song. Complete with razor-sharp instrumentation and a venomous vocal spew, the song leans on the band’s metal influences in a celebratory way.

“‘Forever Bloom’ is a fast-paced song with a whimsical edge to it, paying homage to some of our metal roots,” says guitarist Stephen Rutishauser. “The video accompaniment should let you know that it isn’t all evil and darkness in the world of metal. Of course, we were very grateful to have our friend Trevor feature on this song — RIP to a legend.”

Coinciding with the launch of “Forever Bloom”, Chelsea Grin have announced a partnership with horror streaming specialists Shudder. Fans who pre-save and/or pre-add the new album Suffer In Hell will be entered for a chance to win a one-year subscription to platform. The cross promotion launches as Shudder celebrates the arrival of their new original film V/H/S 99.

Suffer In Hell will be released everywhere on November 11, 2022, while Suffer In Heaven will arrive on March 17, 2023. The double LP can be ordered – HERE. Pre-order bundles include limited edition vinyl color variants, of which were limited to just 500 as well as a new merch collection.
