Polish death metal powerhouse Vader have confirmed their first North American tour in three years with the news of the Revelation Of The Wicked Tour set for March and April of 2023. The 29-date jaunt will mark the band’s first run of the region since the 2020 release of their most recent full length studio album, Solitude In Madness.
During that same year, Vader celebrated the 25th anniversary of their universally-acclaimed sophomore album De Profundis – a rare release that was not available in physical format for some two decades. The album is regarded by many as the band’s most definitive work.
For their return to North America, Vader have tapped fellow luminaries in the space of extreme music with Brazilian bulldozers Krisiun bolstering the caravan. Also opening the cross-country tour, tech death specialists Decrepit Birth make this a can’t miss.
Vader frontman Piotr “Peter” Wiwczarek spoke about the confirmation and detailed how this tour will include a specially curated set of rarities and anniversary performances. “FINALLY, we are announcing the long-awaited US & Canada tour. It’s been a while since our last visit to the North American continent in early 2020. Together with Continental and Nuclear Blast, we prepared a very special show including a set of songs from the debut of The Ultimate Incantation (30-year anniversary) and Revelations (20-year anniversary). Quite a number of them were very occasionally or never played before.
