The band’s recent single “Zombified” leads the charge amassing millions of streams in just days since it’s release.
Last week, Falling In Reverse unveiled their anthemic new single, Zombified and in the days since it’s premiere, the single has gone on to reiterate the fans’ appetite for the Ronnie Radke-led outfit.
Debuting via iHeartRadio last week, “Zombified” has served as a direct hit for the band. Amassing some 3.4 million streams in just days, the track is now featured on some 67 editorial playlist adds on DSPs. “Zombified” is the No. 1 Rock Song on iTunes and #10 on YouTube’s trending page. After three days of airplay, the song charted at #36 on the Mediabase Active Rock Chart and was the No. 1 greatest gainer of the week.
The success of the single has now segued into the news of the band’s forthcoming EP. Though there is no release date of yet, “Zombified” will be featured on Falling In Reverse’s Neon Zombie EP. The effort will be the first collection of songs from Falling In Reverse since the band’s 2019 Drugs EP and follows the success of the 2021 Revamped edition of “I’m Not a Vampire”.
The band’s creative architect in Ronnie Radke, spoke candidly about his headspace while penning “Zombified”. “I wrote ‘Zombified’ about how sensitive society has gotten, in my opinion,” says Radke. “I think we all need to learn to laugh a little more. I pulled out all the stops for the ‘Zombified’ video, for the fans, YouTube reactors, and all people alike.”
Falling In Reverse’s recent strides coincide with the start of their “Live From the Unknown: The Tour” headlining trek. The tour kicks off on January 13 in Atlanta and runs through February 4 in Los Angeles. Bolstered by supporting sets from Wage War, Hawthorne Heights, and Jeris Johnson, the jaunt is one of the most anticipated of early 2022, with many dates having already sold out.
