HO99O9 introduce their new album SKIN with the bombastic single “Nuge Snight”

The Travis Barker produced effort includes guest assists from Slipknot’s Corey Taylor, Bun B, Saul Williams and Jasiah.

Genre-obliterating punk duo HO99O9 recently unleashed one of the most impactful singles of the year when “Battery Not Included” hit the internet a few weeks back. Coupled with the fiery meld of punk, metal, hip hop and faint accent of EBM, the track and accompanying visual grabbed the collective community of heavy music by the throat and demanded they listen.

The track arrived just as the tandem was announced as a participant in the second leg of the Knotfest Roadshow – enlisted as the first of three supporting legends in Cypress Hill and the indomitable Slipknot.

Now, the duo of Yeti Bones and theOGM have officially ushered in the next era in their infiltration as counter culture disruptors with the announcement of their latest full length album, SKIN. Set to drop March 11th, the project recruits Travis Barker at the helm as producer in what amounts to a 12-track assault and arguably the most volatile collection of tracks to date.

To better emphasize the kind of versatility HO99O9 bring to the table, SKIN features a concise, albeit incredibly effective cast of collaborators that cover a broad spectrum of stylistic signatures. From Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor to UGK’s legendary Bun B, from multi-hyphenate Saul Williams to ascending aggressor Jasiah, the range requisite to HO99O9 positions the team in a league of their own.

Paired with the reveal of the forthcoming album, HO99O9 have debuted a second selection from the collection with the subtle nod to former Death Row mogul Suge Knight. “Nuge Snight” is a menacing 1:32-show of force that fluidly transitions from the rhythmic cadence of trap to the instant combustion of modernized grind. The track, much like stylistic amalgam of “Battery Not Included,” is a complete headfuck that is as impossible to categorize as it is to ignore.

In addition to HO99O9’s upcoming slot supporting Slipknot on the Knotfest Roadshow, Yeti Bones and theOGM will embark on their own headlining run with support from N8NOFACE. Beginning April 15th with a hometown show in Los Angeles, the stretch of dates wraps in Houston, TX on May 14th, just prior to HO99O9 joining up with the Roadshow caravan.

SKIN, the latest album from HO99O9 drops March 11th. Watch the mind-melting visual for “Nuge Snight” below.
